About the Pilot
The UNM Catalog and Parchment Badges Pilot is a limited-scope initiative led by UNM Academic Technologies to evaluate Canvas Catalog registration and Canvas Parchment digital badging as tools for professional development, co-curricular learning, and credentialing across UNM.
Project Period: January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026
Platform: Canvas Catalog self-registration (Lobo-Learn) and a dedicated Canvas Learning Management System (lobolearncourses), together with Canvas Parchment Badges (LoboBadges).
Participants: Selected units and programs within UNM.
Note: lobolearncourses.unm.edu is separate from the main UNM Canvas.unm.edu used for academic courses.
